1.Stabilization and Solidification

The process stabilizes heat sensitive heavy metals (Pb, Cr, Cd, etc.) and transforms them into stable solid. Both physical and chemical methods are used.

2.Chemical Oxidization

Chemical oxidants are injected into soil to break down the structure of contaminants, which then transform into materials of low toxicity and mobility.

Characteristics:For VOCs contaminated soil,High Cost,High,adaptability,Safe and reliable,Short construction period
3.Thermal desorption

Based on chemical and physical methods, thermal desorption is used for remediation of VOCs, especially high-boiling pesticide and chloride contaminated site. Contaminants are volatilized or decomposed by heating, which decreases of contaminant content.

4.Soil Vapor Extraction

Soil vapor extraction uses physical method to remediate VOCs contaminated site of high soil permeability. Absorbed, dissolved and freely movable contaminants are transformed into gases and then collected and treated.

5.Chemical Soil Washing

By this process, water and solubilizing agents are used to separate contaminants in HMs, PAHs and TPHs contaminated soil. Separation of mud with water and waste water treatment are conducted as follow-up.

6.Isolation and Blocking

Making use of engineering technologies such as separation barrier and impervious membrane, the process limits surface and underground migration of contaminants to prevent further contamination of soil.

7.Microbial Remediation

Widely used for organics polluted soil, this method makes use of microorganism to absorb and degrade pollutants.

8.Bioremediation
